Media Release - Fenthion use further restricted
Analysis of new residues data by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) means fenthion products can no longer be used on peaches and apricots but can still be used on a range of other fruits and vegetables subject to restrictions.

PER14252: Clothianidin Permit for control of Fruitfly
Following concerns that there may be potential impact to bees, the APVMA have issued version 2 of the attached permit - PER14252 Clothianidin for the control of fruit fly.
Changes to the permit include a repeat of the bee protection statement already carried on the approved label with an IPM reminder to growers that IPM and orchard hygiene should be practiced to ensure efficacy and minimise any following damage to bees and other off target insects.

Please find attached the Guidelines and application form from the Cherry Marketing and Promotions Sub Committee for the 2013/14 Australian Cherries for Export Point of Sale and Instore Tastings Projects.
This is now in its second year.
Applications need to be submitted by 13 September 2013.
