Radio Advertising Campaign

We’d like to update you on the cherry industry’s integrated radio campaign that involves the industry’s marketing funding as well as substantial financial contribution from a consortium of cherry growers.

The timing of the radio campaign is 26th November to 14th December and during this time there will be > 500 radio cherry commercials being played across a number of different networks during premium timings aiming at specific target audience groups.

The key aims of the campaign are:

  • Maximise the cherry industry’s selling window of 100 Days of the Australian market
  • Drive pre-Xmas cherry sales, they tend to be slow  (20% of cherries are sold in the single week including Xmas Day)
  • Profile the health benfits of cherries
  • Dial up the sense of urgency, buy now
  • Provide the emotional connection “Cherish the Moment”
